Hi, I'm Dawn
I know what it feels like to sit with the responsibility of strategy, people, numbers and big decisions.
Before Her Horizon, I was a CEO in the insurtech space, with a background in software engineering and insurance, and before that worked in AI and Innovation in legal outsourcing.
I've built businesses and led people. I've worked with numbers and I've made decisions that made no sense but I knew in my gut were right. I have had to take big risks without knowing exactly how they would turn out and I've learnt that some of the hardest business problems aren't solved by finding the perfect business answer.
Instead, some of the hardest problems are solved by learning how to think better. About the problem and about the options we have to solve it.
Sometimes it is simply a willingness to ask the question that often changes everything:
Do I actually know the right problem to solve?
